[Clayart] Loewe Foundation Craft prize

Good morning. Yes, I am still alive and well; just too busy for my own
good.

Here is a show for you to ponder on. What I find very interesting is how
the visual arts become increasingly integrated in a theatrical way. I
wonder how it will eventually affect the viewers' perception of art and
craft and if it will change it.

I think just looking at images virtually has already changed the viewers'
perspective since it is harder to "weigh" the object with the eye from an
image. In the real world, one can move around an object and make a real
connection to what you see; virtually the object has to move and the
reality plays out like a movie.

It is still a very interesting show to view online though and I wonder
how Eriko
Inazaki would pack and ship her work; does she dissemble the piece like
I've seen others do?
