Yes, I was well aware of the non-deterministic chaos paper. Interestingly
however, Bradbury wrote the story in 1952 whereas Lorenz's use dates from
the late 60's (and the conference talk title from 1972), so one can't help
but wonder how much Bradbury influenced Lorenz's use of a butterfly.
Originally he used "Seagull" as a metaphor.
